French Retailer Auchan Launches New Ocado Online CFC in Poland

Poland has just become one of the most interesting e-grocery testbeds in Europe. Auchan has officially launched its first Ocado-powered Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) near Warsaw — a 16,000 m² automated facility built in record time and equipped with Ocado’s newest robotics and software stack.

While many retailers are still debating how to modernize online grocery operations, Auchan has taken a decisive step: adopting a full end-to-end automated fulfilment model designed for same-day delivery, high SKU variety, and large throughput volumes.

Below is a breakdown of why this launch matters — not just for Poland, but for the wider European grocery landscape.
