Picking into Handling Units in SAP Logistics Management

Picking into handling units is one of the capabilities that separates a basic warehouse application from a genuine warehouse management system. It builds on the handling unit foundation we shipped earlier and closes a long-standing gap in the outbound process: instead of confirming each pick to a bin and piecing outbound deliveries back together at the packing table, the picker picks into a tote, trolley, or carton that the system tracks as a single, identifiable unit from the shelf to packing.
