Picking into Handling Units in SAP Logistics Management

A useful SAP Logistics Management update, particularly for operations trying to create a cleaner flow between picking and packing.

SAP has added Picking Handling Units, allowing items to be picked directly into digitally tracked reusable containers or boxes and then handed over to packing.

From an operational perspective, this is the part that caught my attention. Reducing unnecessary handling between picking and packing sounds simple, but these handoffs are often where additional touches, scanning and process complexity creep into a warehouse operation.

🚮 Stock scrapping with synchronous S/4HANA posting directly from Manage Stock
