AutoStore - Senior Electronics Engineer – New Product Development Robotics
AutoStore is recruiting a Senior Electronics Engineer to join its New Product Development team, working on the electronics behind AutoStore Workstations and Ports.
This is a particularly relevant opportunity for experienced electronics engineers who want to work directly on the hardware development of automated storage and retrieval technology.
The position involves hands-on electronics development, PCB design, power electronics, motor-drive design and integration with other AutoStore hardware. The engineer will also take a broader system-level view, ensuring that new designs work effectively across the wider AutoStore product portfolio and system architecture.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Electronics Engineer will:
Take technical ownership of electronics development for AutoStore Workstations and Ports.
Develop and integrate motor-drive and control electronics.
Coordinate electronics activities within cross-functional New Product Development teams.
Design, test and validate electronics solutions across the AutoStore system.
Maintain technical documentation, project plans and milestones.
Support development from early concepts and prototypes through testing, compliance and mass production.
Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
Experience and Qualifications
AutoStore is looking for candidates with:
5+ years of electronics engineering experience.
Experience with analog and digital electronics, power electronics and BLDC motor control.
Hands-on experience across the complete PCB development lifecycle.
Experience with hardware architecture, schematic design, PCB layout, testing and fault finding.
Knowledge of EMC, DFM, DFT, compliance and high-volume manufacturing.
Experience with tools and technologies such as Altium, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, STM32 microcontrollers, sensors and communication bus systems.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Cybernetics/Robotics or a related field.
Location
The position is based at AutoStore’s headquarters in Vindafjord (Nedre Vats), Norway, or its Oslo office in Lysaker.
AutoStore is also considering candidates from across Europe who are willing to relocate to Norway.
